Your year-round destination for student & youth programs! For over 20 years, Mount Hope Estate and the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire have provided enriching, interactive, and fulfilling Student Programs for hundreds of thousands of students in the Northeast. Whether at School Days at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire or through our Holidays at Mount Hope Theater in the Mansion program, our main goal is to help with the growth and learning of the youth of today, the future of our tomorrow. Performance Availability

Student performances of Holidays at Mount Hope are available at 9:30AM on the dates highlighted on the calendar. Each performance is approximately 2 hours in length with a capacity of 90.

Payment Terms

The cost of Holidays at Mount Hope is $18.00 per student/extra chaperone. A $75 deposit is required for all shows and must be submitted within 10 days of placing your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your selected performance date. Cancellation Policy: All payments refunded up to 30 days prior to reserved date. Please note: the minimum group size is 10 students.

'Tis that treasured time of year when the Tausch family opens their gorgeous estate for their annual holiday fĂȘte! Join the Tausch clan and their best family friends, the Wainwrights, for some classic Christmas cheer, capped by a reimagining of the holiday story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King! Once the trees have been properly admired, and our silly cast of characters have caroled their hearts out, our heart-warming retelling of the story at the core of Tchaikovsky's famous ballet will surely put you in the holiday spirit.

Over the years, educators preparing for school trips to Holidays at Mount Hope have asked many questions. We hope to answer some of the most frequently asked below. The event is located on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate, home of the PA Renaissance Faire. The street address is 2775 Lebanon Rd. Manheim, PA 17545.
Each performance begins at 9:30am is approximately two hours in length.
As quickly as you and your students can choose a date. The popularity of Holidays at Mount Hope increases each year. Many of the dates fill to capacity and reservations are accepted for all of our events on a first-come-first-served basis. The cost of Holidays at Mount Hope is $18 per person for both students and chaperones. One complimentary chaperone will be admitted for every eight students. Extra chaperones are permitted and will be charged the student rate of $18. We request that children younger than Grade 3 do not attend Holidays at Mount Hope, as the show content is geared towards older students who understand the content of the literary works included. If it is absolutely necessary that younger children attend Holidays at Mount Hope, they will be charged the student rate regardless of age.
After making your reservation you will receive an invoice. A $75 deposit is required for all shows and must be submitted within 10 days of placing your reservation. The deposit is applied towards your final balance. Final numbers and final balance are due two weeks prior to the date of your show performance. Payment is requested by one check made payable to: Mazza Vineyards Inc. or by credit card, either VISA or MasterCard. Payments can be mailed to: Mazza Vineyards Inc. • 2775 Lebanon Rd. If your school requires a W-9 form to process the payment please request the form after receiving your original invoice.
We offer free parking for buses on the day of the trip. Please direct your bus drivers to park in the large stone lot that is located next to the brewery (large cream colored barn as you enter the property). If your driver needs more details instructions please have them contact the business offices at 717-665-7021 Monday through Friday, 9AM-4PM.
We do not issue tickets or wristbands for Theater in the Mansion student shows. The day of your trip a point person from Mazza Vineyards will greet your bus and double check your final numbers and payment. They will guide you to the mansion for admission.
Yes, provided your group meets the minimum group size of 10 or more students. The chaperone policies do apply and additional chaperones will be charged the student rate. We request that students younger than Grade 3 do not attend Holidays at Mount Hope, as the show content is geared towards older students who understand the content of the literary works included. If it is absolutely necessary that younger children attend the School Day, they will be charged the student rate regardless of age.
We do not require emergency contact numbers for theater in the mansion performances unless there is a severe weather prediction. If there is a severe weather prediction on or around the day of your trip we will request a mobile number where we can contact you with show updates and important information.
If your students want to pack their own lunches you are permitted to consume them on the buses. No lunches are permitted to be consumed in the mansion at any time.
