2008 Great Green America Fest Metric Century Bike Tour

Thanks to all 177 riders who participated in 2007. You helped raise close to $2,000 for Ducks Unlimited!

Who:
The Swashbuckler Brewing Cycling Team is sponsoring a Metric Century Bike tour as part of the Great Green America Fest with a portion of the bike race entry fee being donated to Ducks Unlimited. 300-400 cyclists are expected to participate. All cyclists will receive free admission to Sunday's Great Green America Festival.

What:
The Great Green America Metric Century Bike Tour is a self-guided and self-paced bicycle tour through scenic Northwestern Lancaster, Lower Dauphin and Lebanon Counties

Where:
The courses will be 62 and 30 miles starting and ending on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire where the Great Green America Fest is being held. The routes are safe, low-traffic country roads with staffed rest stops placed throughout and stocked with refreshments provided by Pepsi.

The courses will cover the following Townships:

  • West Hempfield
  • Mount Joy Township
  • East Donegal
  • Maytown Borough
  • West Donegal
  • Conoy
  • Londonderry
  • Derry
  • Conewago
  • South Londonderry
  • Mount Gretna Borough

Sunday, May 4, 2008
62 mile ride with a start time of 8:00 am.
30 mile ride with a start time 9:00 am.

How:
Registration: Online at bikereg.com
Day of registration opens at 7:30 am for the 62 mile ride.
Day of registration opens at 8:30 am for the 30 mile ride.

Entry Fee $30.00 - Adult riders
Entry Fee $15.00 - Children riders under 18 accompanied by a paying adult

Riders who preregister online will receive a T-shirt. All cyclists will receive a water bottle, lunch voucher (value $8.00) and free admission to the Great Green America Fest on Sunday, May 4. Children under the age of 11 are admitted to the festival free of charge.
