The 2008 Wine, Dine and Seance was a great success! Thank you to all those that visited us for this evening of mystery, romance, comedy and suspense. Here's a little bit about what you may have missed in 2008.

Get into the Victorian spirit! Romantic dining experience, tableside interaction, a séance, fortunetelling and sumptuous four-course dinner complimented by Mount Hope’s Wines, the Swashbuckler Brew Pub’s Beers and sweet, savory desserts. Period costumes encouraged but not required.

Miss Daisy Grubb has an unwanted guest in her house, the restless spirit of her late Uncle. She wants nothing more than to release him from his tortured state, and shall be hosting a séance in hopes of doing just that.

But is the silver-tongued medium she’s hired truly in touch with the spirits, or is he merely another charlatan, posing as a spiritual guide in hopes of winning Miss Daisy’s trust and possibly her dowry? Is it possible that the quirky Paranormal Scientist, and long-time admirer of Miss Daisy’s, is actually the right man for the job… and Miss Daisy? Enjoy an evening of fine dining, spiritual mysticism, and scientific experimentation, Mount Hope style, that may free one spirit while stirring your own.
