This Holiday season, Victorian Mount Hope Mansion will open its doors for an exclusive engagement of the beloved Holiday Dinner Theater. Enjoy an interactive evening of fine dining and classic theater—a limited engagement sure to fill you with holiday cheer.

Ticket Information

General Admission: $82.95 ($79.95 Ticket + $3.00 Service Fee)

  • Reservations are encouraged, as there are a limited amount of public tickets and perfromances may sell out quickly.
  • Meal choice must be made at time of ticket purchase. Learn more about Meal Selections here
  • The doors to the Gallery open 1 hour prior to the start time. The doors inside the Mansion open ½ hour prior. (Example: 7PM Start Time, 6PM Gallery doors open to begin check-in, 6:30PM Inside Mansion doors open and Bar Service/mingling begin)
  • Tables seat 8 guests. A seating chart is prepared before the event date. If you purchase all of your tickets in 1 transaction, you and your guests will be seated together automatically at 1 table or, if there are more than 8 in your party, at adjacent tables. If you and the rest of your party are purchasing tickets separately, select one name within your group and have each person purchasing tickets request to be seated with that name in the reservation notes section.
  • Group only performances are also available for groups of 25 or more. Reservations for the group only dinner theatre must be made in advance through the group sales office by contacting Group Sales Manager, Nicole Boyer, at Nicole@PaRenFaire.com.

Ticket Exchange Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • A $7.50 per ticket fee will be charged for any exchange of dinner theater tickets and must be paid at the time the ticket exchange is made.
  • Exchange requests must be made by calling the Box Office (717-665-7021), Mon-Fri, 9AM-4PM. The order number and new date must be provided at the time of request.
  • Exchanges cannot be made into a sold-out performance day.
  • Exchanges will not be made from one event to another.
  • Tickets do not transfer from one year to a future year. Unused expired tickets are null and void.
  • Exchange Requests will not be honored after the date appearing on the tickets.
  • Complimentary Tickets cannot be exchanged.
  • Theater tickets will not be exchanged without fee due to weather. Should a show be cancelled, guests will be notified in advance of the cancellation. Exchanges will only be honored after a total show cancellation by Mount Hope.

Scenario

Take a trip down the rabbit hole as Charles Dickens invites, fellow literary juggernaut, Lewis Carroll to help retell his most prolific holiday ghost story, A Christmas Carol! Mr. Dickens has made arrangements for the finest and most elegant holiday gathering with the staff at Mount Hope Estate. He looks forward to welcoming his guests for an evening of whimsy, merriment, and good, old fashioned holiday cheer! Perhaps Mr. Carroll will even be coaxed into regaling the crowd with a reading from his newly published book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"! Join them and other honored guests for a night filled with your favorite Christmas carols, rousing parlor games, and a delectable holiday meal with all the trimmings. Get wrapped up in Christmas cheer and celebrate this beautiful tradition of the Holidays at Mount Hope!

Cast Information

Mr. Dickens is our host for the evening. He is elated to present his most beloved ghost story, "A Christmas Carol", with some of the finest literary figures of the Victorian era to help ring in the holiday season.

Mr. Carroll is our guest of honor for this evening's celebration. His most notable work, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" has just recently been published. He is sure to bring a touch of whimsy to our holiday festivities!

Mrs. Gaskell is a celebrated novelist, biographer, and short story writer. She regularly wrote about the very poor and destitute of the Victorian age. Her warm heart and kind demeanor is sure to take the chill out of even the most bleak winter season!

Mary Ann Evans

Ms. Evans may be better known by her pen name George Eliot. She was one of the most famous and well respected Victorian novelists. She also had talents as a poet, journalist, and translator. Though she isn't known for to be warm and fuzzy, her talents brighten even the darkest winter nights!
